Our home offers a very warm, welcoming and vibrant atmosphere, with a dedicated activities team who run sherry mornings, bingo sessions, games and exercise, arts and crafts and baking sessions. Our residents also enjoy regular performances from local musicians and entertainers.
Rowans has been extensively refurbished to a high standard. The addition of an extension has provided a large conservatory living area on the ground floor. In addition, there is a smaller quiet ‘Reminiscence’ lounge and family kitchen located on the second floor.
Our single bedrooms are located on both floors, with passenger lift access to the first floor. All bedrooms and communal areas are fitted with a call bell system so that staff assistance can be obtained quickly.

The Rowans is an excellent care home, from the moment our mum came here she has been made to feel at home and she is extremely happy here. All the staff are very friendly and caring. We would recommend it highly.

My mother was only at the Rowans for a very short time but the care she received was outstanding. They did all they could to make sure she was, at all times, clean and comfortable.
